Q: What kind of hotels will I stay in on a European Discoveries trip?
A: We stay in carefully selected 3- to 4-star hotels, prioritizing location and authenticity over large chains. Whenever possible, we choose locally owned accommodations for a more immersive experience. Our hotel selections are based on past guest feedback, referrals, and online reviews to ensure comfort and quality.
Q: How active are your tours?
A: Our tours are designed for a variety of activity levels. While some tours may be more active due to the itinerary or frequent hotel changes, we always allow guests to take their time if needed. Our philosophy is to avoid rushing from one attraction to another.
Keep in mind:
Group tours include scheduled activities, so punctuality is important.
You can choose your level of participation—if an activity doesn’t suit you, you’re free to opt out.
Everyone must be able to keep pace with the group to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
Q: How much free time will I have on a group tour?
A: Every tour includes designated free time, such as full free days and free evenings for independent dining. While travelers cannot opt out of travel days between hotels, you are always welcome to skip excursions or scheduled activities. Nothing is mandatory—you have the flexibility to enjoy as much independence as you’d like!
